We are proud to shine a spotlight on the stellar staff members that work for our District. During the month of May, SCSD celebrates principals, teachers, classified employees and nurses.

At the May 11th Board Meeting, the Superintendent, the Board and SCSD Administrators recognized our different work groups for all they do throughout the school year to support the staff and students of the district. During this month we celebrate the following groups:
- National School Principal Day (May 1)
- National School Nurses Week (May 6-12)
- Teacher Appreciation Week (May 8-12)
- Classified School Employee Appreciation Week (May 21-27)

We are proud to shine a spotlight on our San Carlos students that excel academically inside and outside the classroom, especially in speech & debate, math, and science & writing competitions. At our April 6th Board Meeting, we celebrated some of their accomplishments and applauded the teachers who supported their growth - Jay Richards and Marty De.

During the Jan 19 Board Meeting, Superintendent Frentress recognized and celebrated the outstanding performance, contributions, programs, events and successes throughout the San Carlos School District. We are so proud to shine a light on the great things happening in our elementary schools and recognize the efforts of staff, students, parents and community members. We are proud to shine a spotlight on the outstanding work of Library Techs in San Carlos School Libraries and the contributions of the School Psychologists in support of San Carlos Learners. Click on the title link to read more.

The San Carlos School District is excited to share that Tierra Linda’s Assistant Principal, Charu Gulati, will be setting sail to the Galapagos Islands for an expedition under the Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship. She will leave on a two-week expedition starting November 10th. Click on the title link above to read more.
