Learning Spaces

Need help supporting your child with distance learning during the day? Have them join their friends in the SMARTE Clubhouse!
The SMARTE program provides on-site, all-day care while schools are on a distance learning schedule. Children can attend our full-time program 5-days a week or our part-time program, 2+-days (Mon/Tue or Thu/Fri + alternating Wednesdays). Programs run from 8:15 am-4:30 pm each day.

Our preschool program has moved into an virtual classroom and we are so excited to have your child join us! Children are having real-time interaction with their teachers, calendar and weather time, completing fun projects together, singing songs, reading books, dancing and playing. Installation will take approximately 8 weeks.

Our SMARTE after school programs have gone virtual! As your partner in learning, we are inviting all families in the District to participate in our Zoom clubhouse to keep students learning and engaged while you are co-working during the day. We took our most popular activities and created a fun, engaging schedule that includes STEAM activities, art, game, movement, music, yoga/meditation, read alouds, and social interactions with friends for up to 3 hours per day. In compliance with the latest Health Order, SCSD will begin opening childcare to groups of 12 or fewer for children of Essential Workers. Our program offers a quiet place for students to complete classwork, access distance learning and participate in recreational/enrichment activities in a safe, 2:12 ratio environment. Our Preschool program is offering a similar, hands-on learning program for 3-5 year olds.
