We are thrilled that the semi-official election results released on March 13 show 62.88% of San Carlos voters supporting Measure H! On behalf of the Governance Team and everyone at SCSD, we extend our deepest gratitude for your engagement and support of our efforts to improve our school facilities. As the remaining ballots are tallied, the outlook for Measure H appears promising.

Attention parents of 4-year-olds - Transitional Kindergarten is expanding! 🚀 If your child turns five on or between September 2, 2024 - June 2, 2025, they can attend TK beginning this August 2024.

After a rigorous and competitive selection process, the San Carlos School District is pleased to announce Sheila Brar as our new Director of Health and Wellness.

As we approach mid-winter break, I want to share some highlights and updates from the district. Every day our classrooms are filled with magic, and recent events such as the 100th Day of School, Westminster Woods adventures, the Arroyo Glow Party, and Lion Dances for Lunar New Year reflect our dedication to educating the Whole Child. Our learners are at the heart of our Strategic Plan, and a Learner Profile, shaped by our community, guides our daily efforts.

Happy New Year & welcome back! The long winter break gave us time to recharge our batteries and we look forward to all that is ahead. We hope you enjoyed family time in the past two weeks and that your students are excited to be back in school. In this letter, I want to highlight a few things that are top of mind.
